Ian Wong is currently the Deputy Director of the Commercial Affairs Department of the Singapore Police Force, and has been with the Commercial Affairs Department for over 30 years. He is currently in charge of the Intel and Admin Group (IAG), which oversee the Financial Intelligence Unit of Singapore. Before helming his current role, Mr Wong is the Deputy Director of the Financial Investigation Group, which investigates into complex and financial fraud.

Mr Wong has been involved as an expert law enforcement assessor in several Mutual Evaluations by the Financial Action Task Force and/or the Asia Pacific Group, including that of Israel, Samoa and Chinese Taipei. He is also the co-lead for the Cyber Enabled Fraud project at the Financial Action Task Force.
