Overview
At ACAMS, our community is a reflection of who we were, who we are, and who we hope to be. We are working to drive long-term change that allows diverse perspectives to flourish. This includes creating opportunities for AFC professionals pursuing a career in financial crime prevention.
About ACAMS Scholarships
ACAMS scholarships are part of our wider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) commitment - empowering professionals from diverse backgrounds to advance their financial crime prevention careers. Through our scholarships, we aim to advance the personal and professional development of aspiring AFC professionals by:
- Creating opportunities for them to acquire globally recognized qualifications
- Helping strengthen their compliance toolkit in understanding emerging topics and trends in anti-financial crime
- Providing a platform for peer networking and mentorship
As the largest international membership organization with over 100,000 members across 190+ jurisdictions, ACAMS scholarship recipients will join a dynamic global community of like-minded professionals.
Generally, an ACAMS scholarship includes the total cost of the exam package (including study materials) and a one-year ACAMS membership. However, inclusions may vary depending on each scholarship award.
We have launched scholarship initiatives for three of our certifications: CAMS, CCAS, and CAFCA. The Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Scholarship is for those with anti-financial crime (AFC) related roles. The Certified Cryptoasset AFC Specialist (CCAS) scholarship is for those working in AFC roles associated with crypto. ACAMS also offers a FinTech scholarship – The Certified AML Fintech Compliance Associate (CAFCA) Scholarship. We invite you to refer to the dedicated scholarship pages below for more information on current scholarships.
