Michelle Frasher, Ph.D., is the Director, Global Content for WorldCompliance at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. She provides strategic direction to the U.S. and global team of researchers including data inclusion criteria, documentation, and training, resource acquisition and allocation, quality assurance and performance, and data protection compliance. Frasher is a specialist on terrorism, anti-money laundering, financial regulation, and data flows, including matters at the intersection of AML/CFT and data privacy.
Prior to joining LNRS, Frasher was a professor of international relations, and a 2014 Fulbright-Schuman Scholar in Belgium and Malta, a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the European Commission, where she focused on the politics and practice of US-EU financial data-sharing for counter-terrorism.
Dr. Frasher’s research has appeared numerous publications including Harvard Business Review, American Banker, Moneylaundering.com. She is a FinTech Advisory Board member with the University of South Florida’s Muma School of Business and serves on the Research Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
