The ACAMS St. Louis Chapter will be hosting a virtual learning event to discuss AML risks associated with tax crimes. Our guest speaker is Amanda LaCross who is Supervisory Special Agent with the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR). Amanda will be providing an overview of the DOR’s Criminal Tax Investigation Bureau and topics to be covered include how the DOR receive their cases, Missouri State statutes related to sales, withholding, and income tax, elements of tax fraud, fraud indicators, affirmative/overt acts, and signs of intent and willfulness.
