ACAMS provides a risk assessment course online, which includes two live Virtual Classroom sessions. Participants complete the course by taking a short final assessment; they are awarded the ACAMS Risk Assessment Certificate once they pass.

ACAMS certificates can be used to evidence your knowledge to current and future employers. Earning the ACAMS Risk Assessment Certificate demonstrates your ability to identify, understand, and measure financial crime risks through effective AML risk assessment.

You have four weeks to complete the ACAMS Risk Assessment Certificate from the date of purchase. After four weeks, your access to the course will expire and you will no longer be able to access the study materials in the ACAMS learning management system (LMS). You can find the expiration date for your course on the LMS.

If you need to extend access to the course for any reason, please contact us.

Yes, multiple attempts of the final assessment are allowed. If you don’t pass the first time, we recommend you review the study materials before retaking the assessment.

The ACAMS Risk Assessment certificate has no expiration date. We do refresh our study materials periodically, and so you may wish to re-take the certificate at a later date to update your knowledge.
