Brazda
Joe Brazda is a subject matter expert in educating and training domestic and international audiences on topics related to Iran, DPRK, nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, ballistic missiles and delivery systems, strategic trade and export controls. Additionally, Mr. Brazda has conducted trainings identifying and disrupting money laundering and financial crimes. Mr. Brazda served at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), where he conducted and managed research, lectured to students, visiting fellows, and the public on a variety of topics related to nonproliferation, disarmament and financial crimes. His duties at the Center included extensive project and financial management encompassing all three CNS offices internationally.
Mr. Brazda’s expertise has been recognized in international media with appearances on television, print, radio, and podcasts. Numerous universities around the world have hosted Mr. Brazda as a guest lecturer speaking on nonproliferation topics in Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, UK and the U.S. Mr. Brazda has a master’s degree in nonproliferation and terrorism studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations and Arabic.
