Rayson Tan oversees regulatory compliance for all HSBC businesses and entities in Singapore, including WPB, CMB, and GBM. He is an IBF Fellow for Compliance, a member of the Singapore Financial Leaders Network (SFLN), a faculty member at the Wealth Management Institute (WMI), and an Accredited Director with Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).

- Chief Risk Officer, Asia at Bank Pictet: Managed risk management framework across Asia.
- Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Head of Legal at Revolut: Secured MPI operating license in Singapore.
- Leadership roles in AML, Financial Crime, and Sanctions at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and UBS Investment Bank, at global, regional and country levels

- First AML Officer for UBS Investment Bank in Singapore (2003).
- Built FCC Program for Deutsche Bank in Asia (2008).
- First Managing Director in Compliance for Credit Suisse in Singapore.

- Developed network analysis tool for investigations.
- Implemented holistic case management for transaction monitoring.
- Used data science to identify risk hotspots.

- Appointed industry spokesperson by MAS on Notice 626 changes (2015).
- Led Credit Suisse team during FATF Mutual Evaluation of Singapore (2015).
- Contributed to ACIP paper on Data Analytics in AML/CFT controls.
- Hosted Wolfsberg planning meetings in APAC.
- Lead the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime (GCFFC) Singapore Working Group on Fraud and Scams
Rayson holds a degree from the University of London and a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association. He has been a certified CAMS Specialist since 2006 and a Director of the ACAMS Singapore Chapter since 2014.
