Naidira Alemova-Goeres has more than 25 years of experience in banking and securities regulatory matters and held senior compliance positions with global and U.S. financial institutions as well as being a partner at Big 4 international consulting firms. Naidira’s expertise covers investigations of money laundering, financial crime, bribery and corruption and execution of anti-money laundering (“AML”), sanctions and fraud risk assessments leveraging her extensive professional background in forensic accounting, M&A and audit. She has implemented large, complex Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) programs, performed international asset tracing and recovery, and led anti-money laundering (“AML”) and sanctions reviews for a number of major international banks including those in connection with the U.S. Department of Justice and New York Department of Financial Services (“NY DFS”) investigations into U.S. sanctions violations.
Naidira’s prior experience also includes a tenure with a large financial institution based in New York as a Head of Anti- Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes and Anti-Fraud Compliance Advisory responsible for both investment banking operations and a broker-dealer. She is fluent in several languages and has a vast international experience serving clients around the globe including UK, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
