Lisa is a retired bank regulator with over 33 years of experience with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that includes BSA/AML examination work, as well as regional and Washington office policy and enforcement work. As a risk management examiner and AML subject matter expert, she led examinations of large, complex, and problem financial institutions. She also drafted and monitored compliance with bank enforcement actions. While working in the FDIC AML Policy Section in Washington, D.C., she was involved in drafting interagency guidance for financial institutions and examiners and interagency rulemakings. Lisa was active in examiner and financial industry BSA/AML outreach and education programs and remains involved in examiner training at the FDIC and the Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) as a contractor since her retirement.
