These rapid-fire updates, which occur every three months, will provide deep-dives into a number of different sanctions regimes and/or jurisdictions, looking at the sanctions measures in place, the risk environment and compliance considerations to be aware of, as well as mapping potential developments. These sessions will also feature a live Q&A.
April’s Rapid-Fire Update will be taking deep dive in to sanctions developments and key considerations with regards to China and Myanmar. On the China-side of things, our expert panellists will explore human rights due diligence considerations, recent countersanctions activities and their implications, and what may be coming up on the horizon. For Myanmar, alongside providing a state of play our panellists will highlight key business risk considerations, such as heightened due diligence requirements, impact on joint ventures and identification of high-risk sectors.
