Katy Worobec is a payments fraud expert with over 30 years experience working at the centre of the banking and finance industry, most recently as. Managing Director, Economic Crime at UK Finance and prior to that as Director of Financial Fraud Action UK. She is an Associate Partner of the Fintech and Payments Advisory Network.

Experience includes establishing the industry Information & Intelligence Unit (encompassing a Fraud Intelligence Sharing System, the Industry Threat Management process and a coordinated industry response to significant data loss/breaches), the Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU - an industry sponsored police unit) and the Take Five education and awareness campaign. Katy is Co-founder and Deputy Chair of the Fraud Women’s Network and winner of the Tackling Economic Crime Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

Adrian Cheek is the founder and lead researcher for Coeus. He has experience building and running Intelligence, Threat Hunting and Fraud Teams in six different countries, including the US, Brazil, Canada, and the UK. Adrian has previously been recognized for his online criminal attribution work and provides training and data assistance to Law Enforcement and private sector businesses globally.

Adrian is a former Law Enforcement officer from the United Kingdom. He had a pivotal role in the disruption and takedown of the Game over Zeus botnet in 2014 and numerous digital fraud & AML operations. Adrian specializes in Criminal Network Attribution and disruption.

Detective Hogan has been in law enforcement for almost 15 years, starting his career in DeKalb County, Georgia. Detective Hogan holds a BS in Fire Science from the University of New Haven where he is currently working to obtain his Master of Science in Financial Crime.

During his career in law enforcement, Detective Hogan has held various positions, most recently as a detective with the Connecticut State Police. As an Eastern District Major Crime Detective, Matt has focused his attention on white collar and financial crimes recognizing significant growth in this sector. Matt has also been assigned to the US Secret Service CT Financial Crimes Task Force and IRS SAR review team. A recipient of numerous commendations to include the State Police Outstanding Service Award and Unit Citation, Detective Hogan’s work has been recognized at every level of law enforcement.
