Humbles
Andy Humbles serves as the Global Head of Sanctions Compliance for the Corporate and Investment Bank at JPMorgan based in Bournemouth in UK, with responsibility for co-ordinating day-to-day compliance with the U.S. sanctions program. He is also responsible for compliance with the UK, EU and other sanctions programs which apply to the various booking locations within the EMEA region across all lines of business. Andy has worked at JPMorgan since 2003. Prior to joining compliance in 2012, he worked in various project and operations management roles, principally supporting equity and fixed income products. Andy graduated with a first class honours degree in Law, and started his career in retail banking at Lloyds Banking Group after which he joined Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equity Division working in a variety of operations roles both in London and Japan. He regularly participates in discussions with industry groups and government agencies about key sanctions developments, with a particular focus on the challenges posed by the increasing use of complex sectoral sanctions.
