Overview
In 2022, the U.S. Government received approximately 800,000 cyber-related complaints totalling over $10 Billion in losses, a 49% increase from 2021. A problem of this magnitude cannot be tackled by law enforcement alone. More than anything, it needs the attention and support of a well-informed private sector. This presentation, which is tailored specifically for financial professionals in the private sector, will discuss the most prevalent types of cybercrime and how to recognize the illicit proceeds entering and exiting the banking system.
