Prakash Mungra studied business economics (1981 -1986) and accountancy (1987-1990) at the University of Amsterdam. He started his career at Moret & Limperg (legal predecessor of Ernst & Young) in 1986. His client portfolio consisted mainly of financial institutions. In November 1992 he moved to Aruba to assume the position of senior examiner at the Supervision Department of the Centrale Bank van Aruba (the CBA). In 1994, Mr. Mungra was appointed manager of the Supervision Department; in 2008 he was promoted to General Manager Supervisory Affairs; and in June 2010 to Executive Director Supervision and Enforcement.
