Hard work pays off — at least on the legislative front. After years of debate and discussion, the most substantive amendments to Australia’s AML/CTF Act and Rules since 2006 are a reality. The result is sweeping regulatory changes, extending compliance regulations to previously unregulated sectors.
But for Australasia’s compliance professionals, the work is far from done.
