Human Trafficking is a multi-billion dollar global industry. It is a highly profitable criminal activity with relatively low risk. Traffickers rely on banks, credit unions, money remittance companies, and other payment service providers to conduct payments at each stage of the value chain. This virtual learning event will discuss Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery from a local and international perspective. We will also discuss identifying financial flows and red flags.
