Brito
Francisca has a BBA in International Business from the University of Michigan, and holds an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. She is married and has three children. She is a fluent Portuguese and English speaker. She is a trained AML/CFT Assessor.
Mrs. Brito’s work experiences includes being board member of three commercial banks; special projects and teaching.
Mrs. Brito is the Director of the Financial Intelligence Unit for over nine years. Receiving, analyzing and disseminating intelligence of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), amongst other FIU responsibilities.
She coordinated:

the first Angolan Mutual Evaluation (MER). She was involved in the four processes completing action plans of GAFI and ESAAMLG.

the first Angolan National Risk Assessment (NRA), supported by the World bank and involving thirty-four (34) national institutions and ninety-seven (97) people. As part of AML/CFT global community and trained assessor. Mrs. Brito was a reviewer for Portugal, and an assessor for Cape Verde Mutual Evaluations.
