FATF has conducted the 4th Mutual Evaluation (ME) on China in 2019, and the next FATF ME on China is expected to be conducted around August 2026. While the country is preparing for the onsite review, it is significant for Financial institutions to understand the result in the 4th round Mutual Evaluation, the rationale of the mutual evaluation, how would it impact the changes in laws and regulations, and the implications on Financial Institutions.
