In its 2022 Report on the State of Effectiveness and Compliance with the FATF Standards, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) found that only 52% of assessed jurisdictions have adequate laws and regulations related to transparency in beneficial ownership. Even worse, only 9% of those countries have effectively implemented these laws. In this webinar, we examine the implementation of FATF standards around the world and examine what is working and what is not.
