Meggie Liu

Meggie Liu is the VP, Authentication Strategy and Analytics for Synchrony Financial where she is responsible for authentication strategy in terms of fraud and customer experience at enterprise level for whole customer lifecycle. 

Meggie has 19 years experiences in multiple financial institutions.  Her career began as Statistician in Capital One Auto Finance. She has held multiple roles in Credit Risk Modeling, Portfolio Risk Management, Acquisition Credit and Fraud Strategy, Fraud Analytics roles in credit card and retail banking companies. Her most recent role as Acquisition Fraud Strategy leader for Synchrony Credit Card portfolio where she was responsible for New Account Fraud Strategy, Payment Strategy and Merchant Risk. 

Meggie received her master’s degree in Applied Statistics from Ohio State University and a bachelors from Tsinghua University at Beijing, China, majoring in Civil Engineering.
