Kleptocrats are leaders who place their own self enrichment over the well being of their citizens. This presentation focuses on the worst of the worst. South Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Equatorial Guinea, Yemen… and others. What do these kleptocracies have in common?  What unique characteristics place these countries on the list of the most corrupt countries in the world? What can be done to address corruption in these countries?  What role do NGOs and investigative journalists play in the fight against corruption?  How can law enforcement benefit from a relationship with NGOs and Investigative journalists?  Lastly, this presentation will address what is being done.
