Daniel Ng

Daniel Ng is currently the Head of Group Compliance at UOB. He has close to 3 decades of financial risk management, financial crime and regulatory compliance, and corporate governance experience, having worked in banks and consulting firms. Daniel’s career spanned the first, second and third lines of defence in the financial services industry. He has worked extensively in the AP region and held senior leadership roles in UOB, EY and IBM.

Daniel is an ardent proponent of behavioural science, and actively drives AI and advanced data science adoption to enhance decision making processes. He has a strong track record in leading teams through successful digital transformations.

Daniel graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Statistics from NUS, and a Sloan MSc in Strategy and Leadership from LBS. He is a CFA charter holder and a certified financial risk manager.
