Inspector Jackson began her career as an investigator with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in May 2012 in San Francisco, Ca. While assigned to the Prohibited Mail and Narcotics (PMN) team, Inspector Jackson primarily investigated cases involving narcotics and narcotics proceeds in the mail. Inspector Jackson is responsible for the seizure of millions in narcotics proceeds and successful prosecution of individuals who utilize the US mail to distribute narcotics. She has led and coordinated national interdiction efforts and criminal investigations across the country.
Subsequently, Inspector Jackson was nominated to participate in the Postal Inspection Service Leadership Program, where she has taken on collateral duties and special assignments for the agency. In 2015, Inspector Jackson was detailed to National Headquarters to assist with the establishment of the cybercrime unit (CCU). While working in this capacity, Inspector Jackson contributed to the development of incident response, training and preliminary investigation criteria currently used by the CCU.
In 2018, Inspector Jackson was promoted to Program Manager of the Contraband Interdiction and Investigations (CI2) Group. In that role, Inspector Jackson managed and coordinated the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of the national narcotics and firearms strategy, which supported the investigation and disposition of criminal, civil and administrative cases.
In 2022, Inspector Jackson was promoted to Assistant Inspector in Charge of the Criminal Investigations Group. Currently, she is responsible for developing and establishing policy, coordinating national initiatives, and managing multiple programs, including Mail Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering.
