Field has enjoyed a successful career spanning 38 years in both law enforcement and the private sector. He has focused the last 12 years on building solutions and strategies to combat financial crime and fraud for both the communities he served and for private sector entities and clients. He has received awards from law enforcement and the private sector for his work in fraud prevention and innovation.
Field has continually stressed the value and necessity of building multi disciplinary partnerships to combat the emerging and growing phenomenon of financial crimes in a cyber enabled world. He has worked closely with the insurance industry, banking sector, regulatory partners, financial and consumer advocates, political leaders, intelligence agencies and law enforcement.
Field is a frequent speaker and has presented and published on human trafficking, organ trafficking, fentanyl interdiction and on illegal wildlife trafficking. He has also lectured on such topics as public private partnerships, consortium data usage and the use of sociodemographic data in fraud prevention. He has energetically promoted career growth and education for his peers and has mentored at every stage of his career.
