Leonardo Abate

Graduated in Social Communication from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) with an MBA in Business Management from FGV. With 18 years of experience in the financial market, he has worked at Banco Itaú, Banco Real/Santander, Banco Yamaha Motor, and Elo Holding (structuring Banco CBSS and Alelo). He has participated as a Compliance member in industry associations – he coordinated the Compliance & AML-CTF Committee at ACREFI and is currently the Deputy Director of the Compliance Committee at ABBI. He is certified as a Compliance professional by the B3 Operational Qualification Program and is a specialist in AML by ACAMS (since 2016). He has been responsible for the Compliance/AML-CTF team at INTL FCStone group in Brazil (DTVM, Currency Bank, and Commodities Consulting) since October 2016.
