Ryan is currently the BSA Officer at Central Pacific Bank. He has just over 30 years of experience in the banking industry and worked at multiple financial institutions in Hawaii.

David Lee currently serves as the BSA Administrator at Central Pacific Bank. David is CAMS certified and has 6 years of BSA experience in the financial institution world.

David first started his banking journey at Ohana Pacific Bank, a local Korean community bank, where he later served as the BSA officer in 2019. He joined Central Pacific Bank as the BSA Administrator in 2022 where he currently assists the BSA Officer and the Assistant BSA Officer will all matters BSA/AML.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Hawaii at Manoa.

David loves to travel with his wife either discovering new restaurants locally or traveling internationally. When not traveling he loves to spend time at home with his wife and dog.

Karelyn Lee is a BSA SME at the National Credit Union Administration. She joined NCUA in 2004 as a field examiner in Honolulu, Hawaii. Before that, she was an examiner for the Office of Thrift Supervision stationed in Boston, where she examined federal savings banks in the Northeast region. During this job, she discovered her love of BSA, compliance, and the nomadic examiner lifestyle.

Karelyn volunteers for AARP’s Tax-Aide program and is passionate about spreading awareness of elder financial exploitation.  She has two senior dogs (17 and 16) and a teenage cat who rules the house.  She enjoys travel, paddle tennis, and pickleball when she's not working.

Maleka has 35+ years of experience in the financial industry, including bank operations, fraud, compliance, and risk management. Her experience included a 13-year tenure for a major AML software company, where she learned how AML systems work from the ground up.  She has worked heavily with OFAC and BSA compliance and developed and implemented AML/CFT programs, comprehensive risk assessments, and model validations at dozens of financial institutions. She was a founding Board Member for the ACAMS Southern California chapter and serves on the San Diego Baja California chapter.

Shaun Morita has been a Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation since 2005.  As an IRS-CI Special Agent, he investigates potential criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code and related financial crimes including money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act violations.  SA Morita is trained to “follow-the-money” and has investigated cases involving tax fraud, money laundering, structuring, embezzlement, wire fraud, labor racketeering, CARES Act fraud and public corruption.  SA Morita is a member of the Hawaii Financial Intelligence Task Force.

Kristy Kinsey is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with a career spanning over 15 years in banking compliance.  Kristy is currently one of the leaders in the Financial Investigations Unit with Corporate Compliance at Bank of Hawaii.   At Bank of Hawaii, she has been able to help shape the BSA program and continually implement improvements for monitoring and investigations.

Kristy has received a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
