ACAMS Luxembourg Chapter March 2025 Event: Fraud Prevention & Latest Developments

Overview

The ACAMS Luxembourg Chapter is pleased to organize, in collaboration with BDO, an event on “Fraud Prevention & Latest Developments.” This event will feature speakers from the CRF and the University of Luxembourg, who will offer analysis of emerging fraud typologies, and offer scientific explanations on the reasons and behavioral aspects of fraudsters, provide statistical insights on fraud events. Following this, BDO will share their practical insights on fraud prevention including discussions on the dual role of AI as both a tool and a threat in fraud prevention, AI-driven fraud schemes through case studies, and real-world examples of CEO fraud. Additionally, they will cover strategies for preventing AI-driven fraud.

Understanding and preventing fraud is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial systems and protecting organizations from significant financial and reputational damage. Event aims to equip attendees with the insights and updates contributing to a safer and more transparent financial environment.
