Heather Stroud

Heather joined the Bureau as an Intelligence Analyst in 2010 specializing in fugitive apprehension, property and financial crimes.  In 2013, she became a Special Investigator and was assigned to the Financial Crime Investigations unit.  She has been the North Carolina State FinCEN Coordinator since 2015.  In her current role, she assists local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to identify, disrupt and dismantle criminal activity.  She holds a certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner.  In 2023, she became the first Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator for the Bureau.
