Gregory Calpakis

Gregory is the BSA/AML Reform Program Manager & Information Security Officer in Bank Supervision Policy at the OCC. He is primarily responsible for implementation of the AML Act of 2020 and coordinating the protection of information collected under the BSA. Gregory has served as the Acting Director BSA/AML Policy, and previously as the OCC Compliance Team Lead at Citibank in Large Bank Supervision, focusing on the overall supervisory compliance activities and enforcement actions. Before rejoining the OCC in 2013, Gregory worked in various BSA/AML related roles in private industry as a Big 4 senior manager consultant, the ACAMS Executive Director, and the BSA Officer at an international bank. Gregory holds a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University and a MBA in Finance and Management from Adelphi University.
