Due to the international community's united response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the sanctions imposed against Russia and its supporter Belarus have become one of the most comprehensive of all time. The work of the Baltic states, as geographical neighbors of Russia and Belarus, in applying the sanctions has been particularly intensive and full of practical examples.
During the virtual event, leading sanctions experts from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will share their experience, shed light on lessons learned and provide advice for more effective achievement of the sanctions against Russia and Belarus goal.
Discussion will be divided in three parts by touching overall aspects, specific sanctions as 100 000-euro deposit limit and import, export bans, summarizing lessons learned and suggestions for future in the conclusion part.
