Nick has worked in sports integrity and corruption investigations for the past 8 years, and previously for 13 years as a criminal investigator combatting transnational organised crime with expertise in money laundering and financial fraud, smuggling and trafficking, cybercrime and counterterrorism.
Nick had a successful 13-year career as a senior criminal investigator and supervisory special agent at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Prior to leaving the government, he held a diplomatic position at the U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Nick was the Integrity Officer at UEFA and an Integrity Manager/investigator at FIFA where he managed intelligence networks, conducted investigations, supervised monitoring capabilities, and administered prevention campaigns to counter the threat of on- and off- field corruption from match-fixing and bribery globally.
Nick earned a Master’s degree from The American University and a Bachelor’s from Seton Hall University. Nick recently founded the boutique sports integrity consultancy firm – RISC.
