Matt Shustrin is the Chief Compliance Officer and BSA/AML Officer for eBay Commerce Inc, a US licensed money transmitter, and also oversees the Payments compliance programs for eBay’s payments entities internationally.   Previous roles with eBay included leading compliance teams as an Associate General Counsel in the legal group, and the company’s Compliance Operations teams.

Matt has over 18 years developing and maintaining compliance programs with a focus on anti-money laundering, KYC, and sanctions.  Prior to eBay, Matt led compliance teams within American Express’s FinTech business unit, and at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith.  Matt holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, and BSM in Finance from Tulane University.
