Ken Murphy has over 35 years of financial services experience and joined Natixis Investment Managers in April of 2022, as Vice President, Natixis Investment Managers North America Financial Crimes Officer. Ken is responsible for oversight of Financial Crimes Compliance Programs (Anti-money Laundering, Sanctions, and Anti-Corruption) for Natixis Investment Managers affiliates located in North America and Asia Pacific.
Prior to Natixis Investment Managers, Ken was Vice President, Anti-Money Laundering Officer at State Street Corporation. As an Anti-Money Laundering Officer, and manager of staff of Anti-Money Laundering Officers, he was responsible for providing advice and guidance across all business divisions for an industry leading custodian bank. Ken was the named Money Laundering Reporting Officer/AML Officer across several State Street legal entities.
Preceding State Street Corporation, Ken was a Director of Compliance for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Ken was the AML officer for Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Columbia Funds, Columbia Acorn Funds, and Columbia Threadneedle Investment Distributors.
Prior to joining Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Ken was director of compliance at Deutsche Asset Management/ Scudder Investments, overseeing core compliance functions. Ken was the named AML officer for the Deutsche Asset Management and Scudder Mutual Funds.
Prior to Deutsche Asset Management, he worked for John Hancock Signature Services and Prudential Mutual Funds Services, transfer agents for the firm’s respective fund families, and at Paine Webber in their mutual fund operations.
Ken has been a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) since 2003. Ken earned a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
