DeGeorge, CAMS
Dawn M. DeGeorge is Director, Corporate Risk Management and is accountable for leading and overseeing the Emerging Risk and Innovation Programs, as well as developing operational oversight policies, programs and frameworks for additional areas of risk. She develops and implements strategy and is responsible for ensuring the enterprise operates within legal and regulatory requirements and established risk tolerances for these Programs in addition to facilitating exam management across the organization. Prior to working within Corporate Risk Management at FNBO, Dawn held several roles with the Financial Crimes Compliance area at FNBO most recently directing and providing oversight of business development and strategic support to lines of business across the enterprise and serving as the strategic interface between the BSA/AML and OFAC area and the lines of business for strategy development, solution discovery, risk management and relationship management. Dawn has over a decade of experience in BSA/AML and OFAC processes at FNBO and has been in banking for over 20 years. FNBO has locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota and Wyoming with a national presence in the credit card industry.
Dawn earned a bachelor’s of Science in Business from Bellevue University. Dawn has been a member of the ACAMS organization since November 2013, earning her Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification in November 2013. Outside of work, Dawn enjoys running with her golden retriever, reading and traveling. She is serves on the board of a non-profit organization within the Omaha, Nebraska area responsible for the development of affordable and sustainable housing within the community.
