Jackson
Daniel Jackson is a Nonproliferation Policy Specialist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). At PNNL, Mr. Jackson manages international engagement and capacity building projects focused on nonproliferation, counterterrorism, and counterproliferation. Concurrently, he serves as a technical expert on countering proliferation finance and implementing international sanctions. In this role, he trains and advises governments on proliferation finance and financial sanctions related to proliferation. Prior to joining PNNL, Mr. Jackson served as a Senior Program Advisor for the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR).At CTR, Mr. Jackson led nonproliferation assistance activities in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. He also served at U.S. Embassy Kabul. Mr. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Arabic language from the University of Georgia, a master’s degree in International Relations and Contemporary War from King’s College London, and a master’s degree in Systems Engineering from George Washington University. Mr. Jackson is an ACAMS Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
