Overview

The ACAMS St. Louis Chapter will be hosting an event to shed light on the AML risks associated with human/sex trafficking. Topics to be discussed during this event include human/sex trafficking case studies as well as AML red flags to consider which could be indicative of human/sex trafficking. Presenting on the subject matter is Monica Dean, an Emmy award winning anchor/reporter for NBC 7 San Diego who led a year-long investigation for an NBC7 documentary series titled, “STOLEN,” focusing on the sex trafficking of children in San Diego. In addition, April Riel will also be serving as a presenter. April Riel is a CPA and Forensic Accountant assigned to the FBI's Human Trafficking squad in the San Diego Field Office.
