Mack
William Mack currently serves as the Special Agent in Charge of the Phoenix Field Office of the U.S. Secret Service where he is responsible for all investigative and protective activities of the Secret Service in the states of Arizona and New Mexico. Mr. Mack began his career in law enforcement in 1999 with the Long Branch, NJ Police Department. He became a Special Agent with the Secret Service in 2002 in the Newark Field Office. Mr. Mack transferred to Washington, D.C. in 2009 and served on the Vice Presidential Protective Division and at Department of Homeland Security Headquarters. In 2018, Mr. Mack was tapped to head the Tyler Resident Office where he oversaw Secret Service operations in East Texas. While in Tyler, Mr. Mack led several high-profile criminal investigations including Operation Crypto Runner, a large-scale operation focused on disrupting organized criminal groups that use cryptocurrencies to launder money derived from frauds. He was promoted in 2023 to lead the Phoenix office. Mr. Mack graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in history. He holds a master’s degree in security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and a graduate certificate in cybersecurity management from the University of Virginia.
