Samantha is a Director in the Global Investigations and Compliance Practice in Washington, DC. She has sixteen years of combined experience in providing BSA/AML/OFAC compliance services to a variety of domestic and global financial institutions including wholesale, commercial and consumer commercial banks, and money services businesses. She has extensive experience providing forensic accounting, advisory and investigative services to a variety of public and private entities.
Samantha has successfully managed various BSA/AML independent testing, gap assessments, and monitoring engagements for various domestic and international financial institutions. Her extensive experience includes assessing and monitoring customer due diligence programs including the adherence to U.S and international regulations and best practices. In addition, she has assisted with the identification, testing and remediation of gaps within the customer due diligence programs of many financial institutions. Further, she has conducted and assisted in the documentation and drafting of comprehensive AML/OFAC risk assessments including products and services focused risk assessments.
Earlier in her career, Samantha managed several engagement teams involving complex accounting and SEC reporting issues. Engagements included in-depth review and analyses of accounting records, company practices, historically filed financial statements and independent auditor workpapers.
