Calvin was born in South Korea, relocating to Mexico with his family in 2018.

Before joining Banregio, he worked in several private companies, primarily handling import and export operations. Driven by career aspirations and a mathematical background from university, coupled with extensive international business experience, he transitioned to Banregio. There, he led the Korean Desk for four years.

He has a strong personal interest in Trade Finance Compliance (TFC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), recognizing the significant economic roles of both South Korea and Mexico globally.

Seeking to further his financial career on an international stage, he joined Citi Mexico. He currently serves as the Korean Desk Leader at Citi Bank’s Monterrey office.

He is honored to be a Board Member of the ACAMS Mexico Chapter and is actively working to improve his Spanish proficiency.
