Mia has worked in the banking and financial services industry since 1989, and began focusing on BSA/AML in 2002. She is currently the Compliance & BSA Officer for the Los Angeles Branch of Woori Bank, one of South Korea’s largest banks. Her knowledge and experience was gained during her tenures as the BSA/AML officer at various banks in the Los Angeles area, as well as providing consulting services to various financial institutions, including banks, MSBs, and casinos, as they worked to strengthen their BSA/AML programs. She has been a member of ACAMS since 2005 and the Southern California Chapter since 2010, currently servicing as the Board Chair. Mia attended the University of Southern California and is CAMS certified.
