Peeples
Lloyd Peeples attended Washington and Lee University where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1995. He went on to obtain his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in 1998. After working in Washington, D.C. for Senator Jeff Sessions and then for several years in private practice, Lloyd was hired as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Alabama in 2003. During his time as an AUSA, Lloyd has handled a variety of civil and criminal cases, including civil and criminal health care fraud cases, False Claims Act cases, tax fraud, mortgage fraud, bank fraud, child exploitation, and public corruption cases. Lloyd currently serves as the chief of the Criminal Division in the Northern District of Alabama.
