Kirk Massengale, CAMS is a Lead Program Manager at PayPal within the Global Financial Crimes unit. He leads a team of global learning enablement specialists and instructional designers charged with shaping the investigative skills of a 3,000+ Global Financial Crimes and Customer Protections workforce. Kirk’s team designs and delivers role-based training in the field of AML and Consumer Protections to new and existing members of the organization, leveraging a blend of traditional classroom learning and self-paced or virtual learning interventions. Prior to PayPal, Kirk spent five years working in retail banking fulfilling various roles ata mid-sized regional bank. During his 16 years at PayPal, Kirk had the unique privilege to visit more than thirty countries. He has made his home in Arizona, Nebraska, Malaysia and India throughout his career, taking on various roles within the organization ranging from investigator to vendor manager to department head. Kirk has been a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist since February 2011. Currently, Kirk is based in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, spending his work hoursteaching others to “follow the money” and his free time writing for enjoyment and entertaining his two pugs.
