Special Agent Kelly Harrison has been a sworn law enforcement officer since 2002 and has been with ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) since 2009. She currently serves as the acting program manager for HSI Charlotte and its field offices throughout the Carolinas. SA Harrison previously served at HSI’s Headquarters in Washington, D.C. in the Cyber and Operational Technology Division as a Team Lead over a financial group responsible for providing financial technologies support to significant cases across HSI’s global footprint.
For 14 years of her career, SA Harrison served as a case agent of national security, counterterrorism, human trafficking, child exploitation, and financial investigations. SA Harrison has investigated hundreds of crimes for the federal government, with some resulting in life sentences and affirmed by the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. She served as HSI Charlotte’s representative to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and is a certified instructor for the HSI National Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Georgia. Prior to her federal career, SA Harrison worked for the State of North Carolina as a Probation/Parole Officer. SA Harrison is CAMS certified, possesses a Graduate Certificate from East Carolina University, and a BA from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
