Jessie Apple is the Group Head of Financial Crime Compliance & Risk at Wise and the UK MLRO. She is responsible for Wise’s global financial crime compliance and risk programme. Prior to joining Wise, Jessie was the Head of Financial Crime & NL Board Member at Airwallex and prior to that she was the Group Head of Financial Crime Compliance at Revolut.

She has also held other positions such as VP Principal Auditor for Financial Crime at Deutsche Bank as well as Associate Director, Financial Crime: Sanctions Advisory, Due Diligence & Strategy at MUFG. Prior to joining industry, Jessie spent 5 years at Deloitte UK where she was a Manager in the Global Export Controls & Sanctions team. Jessie holds a BA from New York University and an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
