Claudia Quiroz is the Director of the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team (NCET) and Deputy Chief of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) in the U.S. Department of Justice. Claudia supervises a team of attorneys focused on litigation, policy and legislative efforts, capacity building and training, and engagement with domestic and foreign partners. Prior to her current role, Claudia spent almost a decade as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of California, where she investigated and prosecuted cases involving the misuse of cryptocurrencies, cybercrime, money laundering, securities and financial fraud, organized crime, and others. Claudia received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
