Victoria Buono

Victoria Buono is a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG). Victoria is assigned to the Health Care Fraud Strike Force in Miramar, FL where she collaborates with other agencies. At HHS-OIG, Victoria has led multiple investigations involving various healthcare fraud schemes, conspiracies, and money laundering violations. Prior to HHS-OIG, Victoria was a Program Analyst for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General (DHS-OIG). At DHS-OIG, Victoria audited DHS’ programs and operations, specifically focusing on identifying fraud, waste, and abuse. Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Criminology.
