Futoon Al Jassim

Futoon Al Jassim is the Head of Sanctions Implementation Compliance at the Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation. As part of the role, she ensures the effective implementation of Targeted Financial Sanctions (“TFS”) by the private sector and collaborate with the Supervisory Authorities on Targeted Financial Sanctions workstreams including implementation measures, workshops and relevant initiatives. Futoon Al Jassim is leading the Targeted Financial Sanctions Working Group, which falls under the Private Public Partnership. The working group has representatives from the public and private sector, in which they both sectors work on emerging TFS Topics, Typologies and Challenges. Futoon is also a member in the Supervisory Authorities Sub-Committee and has a background of being a financial services regulator for over 6 years, with the focus on AML and CFT Regulation.
