What is The Assembly?

The Assembly is the new name for our global conference series. In 2023, The Assembly series includes our conferences in Hollywood, Europe, Australasia, LATAM, Las Vegas, MENA, Canada, Japan, the Caribbean, and our FinTech & Crypto event in Texas. In 2024, our APAC conference will also be part of The Assembly series.

What is changing?

You’ll see our new branding in all of our conference communications, on-site at our conference venues, and across our virtual event platform. The Assembly will be brought to life with bright colors and imagery, representing the exciting, productive, and creative environment of our conferences.

What isn’t changing?

The name and branding of each event will change, but the conference program will stay the same. You can expect the same quality conference content that ACAMS is renowned for. This includes expert speakers, a diverse program, and dedicated networking time – all aimed at helping you broaden your horizons and sharpen your skillset.

I’ve already booked to attend a conference this year, is my ticket still valid?

Yes – the only thing that’s changing is the name of the event you are attending. Your booking is still valid and no other details about the event will change.

Can I sponsor or exhibit at The Assembly?

Yes, we’re always delighted to hear from potential sponsors and exhibitors. Please fill out the form on this page and we will be in touch.

Yes. Continuing professional development is a cornerstone of professionalism for everyone in financial crime prevention. Attendees will earn nine ACAMS credits, which will be applied to your profile two weeks after the event.

Yes. A certificate will be sent via email within two weeks of the event.

Please note the confirmation email can take a couple of hours to be sent. We also recommend that you check your spam folder. If you still have not received it, please get in touch with info@acams.org, we’d be happy to help.

Because of privacy regulations, we can’t release the names of attendees. If you want to know who else is attending, why not join in the conversation on social media in the days and weeks before the symposium – use #ACAMSFinTech to connect with other attendees.

ACAMS FinTech + Crypto Summit 2023 passes are non-refundable. Pass holders may request a pass transfer to another person, colleague or client up until June 16, 2023.

Covid-19 Policy: At the discretion of ACAMS, pass holders will receive a refund of a conference pass if the pass holder is unable to attend the in-person event, at any time, in Austin because the pass holder has been diagnosed with Covid-19 or if government-issued travel restrictions are in place during the event dates. If a pass holder is unable to attend because of the Covid-19 illness, ACAMS reserves the right to request proof of a positive diagnosis. If a pass holder has been potentially exposed to someone who is positive for COVID-19, a pass transfer to a future in-person event can be made.

Government-issued travel restrictions include:

• The country/state that you live in closes its borders to travel
• The country/state you live in issues advice not to travel to Austin, Texas
• The country/state you live in has imposed an unavoidable quarantine on return from travel
• There is an unavoidable quarantine on arrival in Austin, Texas
• There is a further lockdown phase in the country/state you live in that prevents you from leaving your home except for essential requirements

In the event Austin, Texas announces a return to Covid-19 restrictions, ACAMS will abide by local government and CDC guidelines. Due to new limited seating your conference pass may be subject to change to the next in-person event. Seats will be allocated based on time of purchase.

If the state of Texas’s governing body imposes a new restriction that prohibits ACAMS from holding an in-person event you will be able to transfer your pass to the next in-person event. Refunds will not be available.

ACAMS is offering in-person attendance at the Annual FinTech + Crypto Summit 2023 in Austin, Texas in compliance with local government orders permitting such gatherings at this time. Currently, the Austin Convention Center’s safety protocols, local guidance, and CDC guidelines do not require hotel guests and conference attendees to wear masks. However, all attendees and staff are still expected to fully comply with applicable safety precautions, such as staying home if exhibiting signs of illness. Masks are optional for anyone choosing to wear one and sanitization stations will be available throughout the meeting space.

If hospitalization rates rise, Travis County could re-instate capacity limits, which could impact the number of attendees permitted at the ACAMS FinTech + Crypto Summit 2023.  If this were to occur, you would be notified as to the status of your registration. If state or local capacity restrictions require ACAMS to reduce the number of attendees at the ACAMS FinTech + Crypto Summit 2023, and you are unable to attend the conference in person, you will be provided with the ability to transfer your pass to the next in-person event. Refunds will not be available.
