Overview
Learning Objective #1 - Understanding of the increasing risk related to cyberlaw enforcement including a look into cyber insurance, data privacy skills in the legal industry and expansion of data privacy laws.
Learning Objective #2 – Understanding of the court’s perception of organizations that report a cyber breach; including an evaluation of lessons learned from publicly disclosed data breaches and security incidents
Learning Objective #3 – Understanding of the ways your organization can be identified and how to minimize legal risk. We will focus on the alignment between compliance, legal and IT when evaluating consumer harm and breach reporting requirements.
These objectives can help participants develop the skills and knowledge necessary to help mitigate legal risks related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
