A Brave New World: The Evolution of Data Analytics and Digital Forensics in Money Laundering Investigations

Twenty years ago, money laundering investigations required law enforcement to conduct surveillance, sift through paper records, and construct spreadsheets. While that is still necessary, data analytics and digital forensics have revolutionised the way in which law enforcement can conduct the same investigations.

The presentation will cover a number of case studies which show how the use of data analytics and digital forensics have changed money laundering investigations over time.

Fighting Financial Crime: A Paradigm Shift

The future of financial crime requires a paradigm shift to ensure that we stay at the forefront of the evolution of financial crime over the next 5-10 years.  The discussion presents views across select global thought leaders with passion and experience in the topic from across professional spectrum to understand why the fight against financial crime matters, gauge the current climate, and identify shifts or changes in the future of financial crime required to move forward with purpose.
